Geography

Geography is brought to life by exploiting opportunities, wherever possible, to visit localities of geographical significance to enrich the children’s learning. Workshops and visitors to the school also enhance the learning, understanding and recall of our Geography curriculum. Each topic is carefully planned to ensure that National Curriculum requirements are met across the school. Children are taught important geographical enquiry skills.  They learn about their local area, the UK and the wider world beyond.  Our aim is that all children will finish a topic with a greater understanding of the world and the places within it.
