Girls 'Love Rugby' Festival

With the Women’s Rugby World Cup taking place in the UK in less than 500 days, a team of 8 Year 5 and 6 girls attended a 'Love Rugby’ festival organised by Stevenage Sporting Futures.

The event was held at Datchworth Rugby Club and the girls were able to enjoy an afternoon of rugby and to find out what  it is like to attend a local rugby club.  Mrs Nemes and Mrs Durham, who accompanied the team, reported that the girls were absolutely fabulous in terms of their attitude, behaviour and the way they played.  Well done Connie, Ella, Della, Dora, Lily, Mia, Elizabeth and Martha.  A special mention goes to Ella in Y6 who was identified as the player of the afternoon.

After the event, flyers were given out advertising an opportunity to meet England rugby player, Hannah Botterman on Wednesday 29th May at Datchworth Rugby Club.  Hannah is an ex-pupil of All Saints and a flyer will be sent out with this week's notices.
