Monster Phonics Day 2024

Today was Monster Phonics Day at school and  children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 were allowed to come dressed as one of the characters from Monster Phonics.  They also took part in related activities during their lessons. 

In Year 2, children wrote descriptions of monsters and then created these using AI technology. 

Year 2 Monster Phonics Day

In Year 1, children designed and made items that could be found in the homes of the monsters. 

Reception parents and guardians were invited to join their children at the end of the day to learn more about our phonics scheme and to talk part in activities.
