Truck Road Safety

My mum Dana Burnell came into school on Monday 17th June to do a TACS (Truck and Child Safety) talk with all the children from Year 2 to Year 6.  One of the interesting facts which we learnt was that to stop a HGV it takes the whole length of an adult sized football pitch.  A second and third fact is that one wheel is the size of a wheelie bin and a HGV is as tall as a giraffe.  Everyone must be careful around lorries.
