Year 4 - Badminton

This week, eight year 4 pupils had the opportunity to participate in a Badminton Festival. Shuttle Stars is a new programme for Badminton England, covering every aspect of badminton at grass roots level. The children were able to try different activities and challenges, involving badminton rackets and shuttlecocks to develop their skills within the sport. Some children had never played badminton before and this was a great chance to try something new. We also found out how hard it was to throw a GIANT shuttlecock! The children behaved impeccably and represented our school through respect, honesty and  great sportsmanship. Well done Year 4 children. On to the badminton competition hopefully next year!
